With over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry; from running a multi-branch brokerage to building and owning a very successful business with over £20m GWP and 100+ staff; Paul understands the challenges of running a business in today’s competitive and compliant market.
Paul created 1 Answer in 2005 as a truly independent personal lines network, to provide support and services to the high street broker and having celebrated it’s 10th anniversary under Paul’s continued direction, the network has grown rapidly, with a healthy membership base, diverse products, solutions and services for both personal lines and commercial businesses.
Stuart has over 25 years experience in the insurance broking sector and joined the team in 2013, where he now provides the vital head of operations role, overseeing the team and business on a day to day basis.
He has worked in front line insurance sales, I.T., business development and Broker acquisitions. With 18 years as a senior manager in a large regional broker he has built up an excellent understanding of how insurance brokers operate on a day to day basis and the challenges they face.
Andrew has worked in the insurance broking sector for 30 years. He joined the team in May 2013 and is responsible for CDL systems training, implementation and support.
He has held various roles from Broking and Management to IT, Training and Compliance so has a very good understanding of the challenges faced by brokers and the ways in which our systems and additional services can support and improve on your day to day operations.
Kevin joined the team in October 2016 having worked in the insurance broking industry for more than 30 years, most of which have been on the CDL system one way or another. During this time his roles have been varied and have included front line sales, compliance, branch support and training.
Kevin has also been involved in a number of broker acquisitions and has an excellent working knowledge of both the CDL Classic and Strata operating systems.
Wayne after leaving college spent 4 years at Zurich insurance before joining ULR. With 21 years at ULR progressing up to sales director and he was very prominent in making ULR the company it is today.
Wayne brings extensive knowledge of the industry and the products and services that can help build and develop in this competitive market. Wayne plays table tennis at league standard and is a qualified football coach.
