1. I already have deals with certain insurers; will I still be able to use these?
Absolutely; 1 Answer is a supportive network. We don't take any control of how you decide to run your business - or where you place covers. You may even wish to promote your own deals to other network members to generate more business (if the underwriter will allow you to do that of course!)
2. Will I have control of my own agencies?
Yes, one hundred percent. We do not operate under 'umbrella' or 'master agency' agreements. Your accounts will also be settled by you as normal with each carrier.
3. Do I have to place business exclusively with your 'partner insurers'?
Not at all. You are free to choose where you wish to place your business.
We just ask that, where possible, you support our partners in order that they continue to supply even better rates for you and us.
4. How much will it cost to join 1Answer Network?
Associate membership is free to join.
Executive membership will vary dependent on your requirements, but we are sure that you will be very surprised (and very pleased) with the deal we have negotiated with CDL.
5. Can you help me to get new agencies?
Yes. We have very favourable relationships with many insurers and as part of a growing network you will have a much better opportunity of securing agencies. The insurers are genuinely excited about 1 Answer Network because they know the level of support that we offer can help enhance your business. They are keen to grow with us.
6. What happens if I already use other providers - for example to handle claims?
We are sure we can supply you with a better service and increased revenue from our suppliers but ultimately the choice is yours. Remember these are some of the main benefits of joining the network.
7. Do I have to trade via the CDL system?
No. There are two levels of membership:
Executive, which operates via CDL and
Associate, which gives you many of our other benefits whilst you continue to use your existing system provider.
8. What is the contract period?
Associate contracts are for 12 months.
Executive contracts are for 3 years.
These may be negotiable dependent on your circumstances.
9. What other support can you offer, alongside new markets and enhanced rates?
We offer support in IT, marketing, cross selling, financial services business, staff training and web design. Furthermore, each member will benefit from a free IT systems health check and business health check, with confidential reports.
10. You do not mention Commercial Business, is this supported?
Although our services are designed mainly for the personal lines market the CDL system provided as part of Executive Membership can manage your commercial and bespoke business information with ease - see our commercial page for more information.
11. What Products do I get as part of membership and can I choose which ones I want to use?
Along with excellent insurer deals we offer a fully managed Claims service, Premium Funding product, Financial services, full breakdown cover, Household appliance product, lost Key product, call purchasing and selling, and many more coming on line all the time. You may pick and choose what suits you best.
12. How do I connect to the CDL system with Executive Membership?
